 The Standard & Poor’s agency confirmed the BB long-term credit rating and  the kzA+ national scale rating of the Kazakhstan National Postal Operator Kazpost.  The rating forecast - Stable.

The ratings from the mentioned agency reflect the “high” probability of urgent support from the Government, under stressful conditions and Kazpost’s own solvency, which was rated B.

On 1 July 2011, Standard & Poor’s confirmed its Kazpost ratings – the BB long-term credit rating and the kzA+ national rating, after which event the Agency recalled those ratings, for a request from Kazpost, in connection with the temporary suspension of relationships between the two entities. 

 Moody's Investors Service

On 9 June 2010, Moody’s Investors Service brought the Kazpost rating from Baa3 to Ba2. Due to visible reduction in the governmental support to Kazpost, the agency decreased Kazpost’s corporate rating from Baa3 to Ba2. Besides, the agency modified Kazpost’s national rating from Aa3.kz to A3.kz. Those ratings concluded the review process commenced on 12 March 2010.  Rating forecasts remained Stable.  Moody’s Investors Service’s decision to decrease the Kazpost credit ratings was associated with the fact that the Republic of Kazakhstan Government should be more selective in its support to the national companies, in future, and fully reflected the agency’s opinion that the support from the Government began to gradually decrease.
