Internal Audit Service (IAS)

IAS mission is to render assistance to the Board of Directors and Kazpost (hereinafter to be referred to as Company) management, in the course of implementation of tasks in the sphere of risk management and for the sake of general business processes improvement, thus ensuring achievement of strategic goals.

IAS tasks:

1. Internal Control System reliability and effectivity evaluation;
2. Risk Management System reliability and effectivity evaluation;
3. Company corporate management improvement evaluation.

IAS provides Board of Directors with independent and objective information on effectivity of internal control procedures, existing in Company. Effective internal control mechanisms are necessary to ensure timely and trustworthy operations, performed in order to achieve Company goals.

IAS must reveal any shortcomings in the Internal Control System and make recommendations as to how mitigate and reduce risks and improve internal control and processes  Internal Auditors also evaluate adequacy of measures taken by each Company business unit, offer positive change, which may increase productivity and effectivity of performance.

IAS head quarterly reports to Board of Directors about IAS activity and communicates all recommendations aimed at Company corporate and risk management improvement.  IAS shall be governed by Republic of Kazakhstan legislation, Kazpost IAS Statutes, Company Charter, Company body decisions and Kazpost Internal Audit Policy. IAS shall operate in accordance to international Internal Audit professional standards, developed by Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).

Kazpost IAS Head Information

Aliya Bayshuakova was born in 1977 in Almaty.  Economics Graduate from Almaty Technology and Business Institute.  Ms. Bayshuakova holds a diploma in international financial reporting  and is a certified practicing accountant.  Throughout various period of her life, she worked as JSC Karavan Senior Accountant, Samruk-Kazyna Contract Senior Accountant, Audits Manager with AGM Independent Audit Company and JSC Accept Corporation.

In September 2009, she was assigned a Kazpost Chief Auditor.  30 March 2011, Kazpost Board of Directors assigned Ms. Bayshuakova Head of Kazpost IAS.
