Social Liability and Duty

Kazpost’s view on social liability is in voluntary donations and efforts into social development, as well as environmental and economic spheres directly related to Company professional operations, and based on true financial condition of the Company, such donations and contributions will, however, exceed the minimal margin established by appropriate legislation.

Company expresses assurance that social aspect is now acquiring bigger significance for business reputation, and in doing so, Company supports the further worldwide development of social factor, which factor, in its turn, is an instrument allowing the Company to:

 - gain more business reputation and increase company capitalization, as well as establish effective and balanced relationships among all concerned parties, including state, shareholders, consumers, personnel, partners and local communities;
 - effectively eliminate non-industry risks emerging in business processes;
 - ensure progressive movement of business by means of cultivation of new products contributing into social development, such as culture of consumption and introduction of new services in practice.

Company takes active part in implementation of priority state and industry programs in the social sphere, as well as all international and all-national activities of the kind.

Company joined UN Global Compact, a projected initiated by United Nations.

The said treaty is a value based platform for UN’s cooperation with businesses at all levels. UN Global Compact calls all business circles to conform to ten basic principles in the sphere of human rights, norms of labor relations and environmental protection.

Company undertakes to conform to the following principles contained in UN Global Compact.

Human Rights:

 - render assistance and respect human rights proclaimed by international community;
 - ensure no participation with violation of human rights.

Labor Relations:

 - support freedom of associations and acknowledge the right to enter into collective agreements;
 - act for elimination of forced labor;
 - act for full elimination of child labor;
 - act for elimination of discrimination in the sphere of labor and occupation.

Environmental Protection:

 - facilitate prevention of environmental impacts;
 - initiate and encourage higher responsibility for the condition of environment;
 - facilitate development and distribution of environmentally friendly and clean technology.
